Select Your Obstetrician
You select one doctor in our practice as your primary obstetrician, who will see you monthly. You have the option of meeting each of the other physicians in the group if you wish to do so. The obstetricians share on-call coverage, so someone from the practice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for deliveries and emergencies.
Personalized Care
Our primary goal is a healthy pregnancy for both mother and baby, while doing our best to enable you to have the experience you desire. To this end, we provide expert, individualized, and personalized care throughout this normal life process. If there is a need for medical intervention, we keep you informed, listen to your concerns, and answer your questions. Ultimately, it is your decision, and we support you in your choices for prenatal testing and treatment as well as for labor and delivery.
Appointments
If you believe you are pregnant, contact us to schedule your first appointment. At that first appointment, you will start your appointment with an ultrasound and receive pictures of your baby to show your family. You will then have a comprehensive history and physical examination. You will be given the book, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and other information on pregnancy. Your second visit is also packed with education about pregnancy and prenatal information like diet and exercise; we will also answer any questions you may have.
Childbirth Education Opportunities
These classes will be held IN-PERSON on select Saturdays (See schedule for availability) from 9 am – 1pm at our office in Sioux City.

Informational books to go along with the class will be available for $6.
